Why is Tradr 2X Long AXTI Daily ETF (AXTX) stock moving?

AXTX is a 2x daily leveraged fund on AXT Inc (AXTI). It has fallen from about $21 on Oct 28 to $5.92 on Nov 5, including a drop of about 46% on Nov 5 alone. Volume surged to 16.8M, versus about 5-7M earlier in the month. The decline coincides with a broad AI and optics selloff. The Nasdaq entered correction territory, and fears that the US midterm results could slow data-centre investment added to the pressure. AXTI's fundamentals are strong: record Q3 revenue of $73.4M, up 162%, higher Q4 guidance, and Buy ratings from analysts including Wedbush. The main risks are China export permits for its wafers and the AI valuation reset. Daily-reset leverage causes volatility decay in choppy, falling markets. That makes AXTX much riskier than AXTI itself, and the fund's price can fall far faster than the stock does. The fund could rebound sharply if AI sentiment stabilizes. But the trend is sharply negative and volatility is extreme.
