Why is Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) stock moving?

DJT is trading near record lows. It closed at $5.95 on Nov 3, after hitting a low of $5.40 on Oct 30, and is down about 41% over the past month and 55-60% year to date. On Nov 4 it fell about 11% to roughly $5.27-$5.30 after Democrats won control of Congress, which unwound the 6% election-eve rally. The stock has long traded as a proxy for Trump's political fortunes, so the shift in the political outlook hit it harder than the broader market. Fundamentals are weak. Q2 revenue was only $1.7M, against a net loss of $238M driven by digital-asset marks. Trailing losses are about $1.3B, and the company carries heavy debt and bitcoin exposure. The $6B all-stock TAE fusion merger is still subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals, and a second amended S-4 has been filed. Bearish options flow, litigation and regulatory scrutiny of Truth Social monetization add pressure. Q3 earnings, listed for Nov 9, are the next catalyst. Trading volume has been modest, and the downtrend is persistent, though oversold bounces like the Nov 2-3 rally can happen.
