Why is Roku, Inc. (ROKU) stock moving?

Roku's story is now the closing of Fox's roughly $22B cash-and-stock acquisition. Class A shares are due to stop trading on Nasdaq before the open on Nov 9, so ROKU will soon have no market price. The stock rose steadily into the close of the deal. It hit a 52-week high of $163.57 on Nov 5 and traded around $160-$163 this week, close to the $160 level that analysts such as Rosenblatt and JPMorgan cited. Fundamentals were strong in the final report. Q3 revenue grew 24% to $1.5B, EPS was $1.20 against about $0.55 expected, and net income was $183M. Roku gave no new guidance and held no call, and the devices segment is losing money because of memory costs. Analysts moved to Neutral because the deal caps the upside. Directors and executives have been selling under pre-arranged plans. With the merger complete, share price moves no longer reflect an independent outlook for Roku. Holders get Fox consideration, and Roku Class A shares will cease to exist as a tradable security.
