Why is VCI Global Limited (VCIG) stock moving?

VCIG is in an extremely speculative, disorderly trading phase. The price slid from about $5 in mid-October to $3.04 on Oct 30. The 1-for-18 reverse split took effect Nov 2, and the stock then spiked 168% to $8.16 on 111,908 volume in the supplied data, with an intraday range of $2.70 to $9.29. Reports then show a 31% pre-market drop on Nov 3 and a fall of about 40% or more intraday, to roughly $4.6-$4.7. No fundamental catalyst for the spike was identified. The reverse split cut the share count to about 535K, so the float is tiny and moves are exaggerated. The split was intended to keep the Nasdaq listing, and the company hinted at a potential institutional transaction. The AI computing and token pivot, and the $125M standby equity facility discussed in October, offer a narrative. They also carry dilution risk. The prior day's analysis was Neutral at 55. Given the post-split whipsaw, a fading spike, and dilution and listing risk, the outlook is now more bearish.
